Palmetto School of Career Development was founded in 2010 by three partners with the goal of providing education and hands on experience to specialists in the dental office work environment. PSCD quickly evolved and expanded their curricula to offer that same practical and “real world” experience to other professional environments, including physicians offices, retail and hospital pharmacies, and law firms. New classes are being constantly evaluated and developed to meet the growing need for professionally trained and dedicated students looking to further their careers.
PSCD is currently operating in six cities throughout Georgia and South Carolina with more on the way. Our schools and courses are approved by the appropriate governing bodies in both states, including South Carolina Commission on Higher Education and the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission. These commissions ensure that all of our programs meet rigorous standards that possess both academic and practical elements and enhance our students’ chances of securing a position once courses are completed.
Our steadfast mission is to provide the highest level of education and support using the most cutting edge educational environments, instructors and curricula for students looking to further their career goals. One of our goals is to provide internships and externships that allow students to enter a work environment before then end of their required coursework, thereby enhancing their skill sets via real world experience, and moreover, prepare them as best we can for their job search

At Palmetto School of Career Development, it is our goal for each student to leave with all three.
Our process is simple: Enroll in the course that best fits your career goals, complete the required coursework and training, take the appropriate national and/or state certification exam, and then find employment in your new field.
We understand that our students are not just looking for an education; they come to us for new career. That means our job does not end when you graduate. Each campus has a designated Career Advisor that assists students with job placement, resume writing, and interview preparation that will set you apart from the competition when interviewing for your new position. Our website also has a Career Resource section that is available to our graduates with job listings in your area and helpful advice to prepare you even further to succeed.
